Hi All,
I'm Back in Brisbane. The wedding (in Perth) was a wonderful event, and me, being the Father of the Bride (Jenny), was first cab off the rank to present a speech.
Well before the ceremony we were warned that speeches be limited to two minutes or less. OK. I thought. Hmm I can make a joke on that one.
My time came. I flowered it up a little and then said, " I can't speak very long, I have a
throat problem. If I speak too long Jenny's threatened to cut it."
This captive audience just erupted with laughter. Most were aware of the limitations that were placed on the speech makers.
The days following the wedding found Ros and I checking out the wares of the Swan Valley and Margerat River Wineries. Swan Valley had many good value for money wines. I cannot say the same about Margerat River. Some wineries had good competitive prices. Some were an absolute insult.

One outlet in particular, was charging $100 a bottle for an average quality red. Taking advantage of the tourist ignorance. Some "jumped up, never come down, snot gobblers" think that they are getting a quality product just because of the price.

When I qestioned the justification of this, the reply was, " We always sell out of stock each season."
Minor episodes like the above failed to spoil the great time we shared in WA. If anything the visit was too short.
In the attached photos my daughter Jen is dressed in white.
