hi Jen, this is one of my cars that l finished restoring last year, 1970 HG Monaro. original purchase price $3800, insured agreed value now $110,000.
it certainly helps to be in the trade.
What a beauty!!!!
Well done - clearly you deserve the appreciated asset, and joy.
Peter, I'm referring to the '02-'06 Coupe. Great engine, lousy gearbox and very unsure handling - so say most sources out there. I might have spoken too soon, but was not the Gran Tourismo a re-development of the Coupe?
I suspect porsche reviewer came to that conclusion. The 3200 coupe(its the one with the boomerang tail lights) from 1999 was the new dawn with part ferrari ownership and shared engine technology a few reliability issues with them, then in 2002 the 4200 with all new 4.2l V8 available coupe or spyder, evolved to gransport with quattroporte developed around same time. Gran turismo all new model after Gransport ceased production. The 4200 is a super car, have had no problems with mine. I have driven quite a few high end cars and I've driven this at about 175km/h on a racetrack and enjoy the driver engagement of the maserati.
After being knocked from my BMW motorcycle in December last year I thought it prudent to stop riding and upon recovery I purchased a little red Mazda MX5, a wonderful car that is not really fast but very quick, the only problem was that it left me feeling that I wanted to get closer to everything again so there is now another BMW motorcycle in the shed as well. With about 90hp at the rear wheel and more than 100Nm, 0 to 100 kph in 3sec is a snap and an all day cruising speed of 125kph is possible whilst returning about 19klm/litre.

You can't look at the stars in the daytime.

Me too - always happy to help out. I can bring my hot rods too if anyone wants a drive. I have a Chrysler Grand Voyager that does 0 to 60 in about 24 minutes, and a Fiesta - that I can only just fit in. Happy to swap for a drive in a Masserati/Ferrari or anything similar.
