Glad you like it Fred, not as sexy as deep red but not bad.

Looks do count, only thing missing is a nice bottle of port for those cool nights, although have just finished connecting the obs computer to a computer inside just for astro work via a crossover cable.

HI Barb & David like the colour of the walls looks good,did you use a flat paint or low sheen .i started to do mine in gloss black but have sinced changed my mind.

Hi Alan

I used a Dulux Exterior low sheen.The colour is a colorbond shade called Blue Ridge,the walls are actually a little darker than in the photos.

The first coat was done with a brush and the second coat with a roller to give a nice texture.

Haha, the color is great. Flat. neutral and what I would paint an observatory (If I ever got one)

I would of thought colour bright red would be used to reflect red light for reading.

I suppose it is a colour that could make you vomit.
