I installed a fresh 0.10.2 and updated it to 0.10.3 as per Barrys' advice.

The progression of the view through the shorter fl EPs seems ok (13mm down to 8.5mm) - however the 21mm Denk gives a magnification effect similar to the Pentax 10.5mm - a problem changing the EP or scope fl in the .ini file fixes

The images of NGC 4755 you have posted here are much better than what my stellarium currently has, have you just updated the catalogues from within Stellarium or done something else?

To get a good Stellarium display of NGC4755 you will need at least 7 catalogues and if you run Vista you can have all 8.

The attached screen shot is 7 catalogues with the relative star size set to 6.5

Exit Pupil = DO/M

M = FO/FE

where FO= focal length objective FE = focal length of EP

DO= diameter objective

I found this website to be a handy tool for calculating Exit Pupil etc.

Thanks Jules -- just what I needed to confirm my calculations.
Thanks Trevor, unfortunately I wasn't smart enough to understand your solution.
