I tend to think that Hauz huang is a bit like a common suburb name.
Did a bit of poking around on Google and I **think** I've located it. The Huazhuang Ecological Garden is 2km from the town of Wuzhen which is in turn about 1/2 way between Shanghai and Hangzhou and about 60km from both Hangzhou and the Pacific Ocean. It is also very close to the centreline.

For Google Earth, Wuzhen is at about:

120 29 36.75 East
30 44 17.75 North

Near Jiaxing. We will be about 5-odd kms from the centreline and totallity should be about 5mins 51sec.

Hope that helps.

Best,

Les D

Getting exciting now. Just 12 hours until we are flying toward Sydney and meeting up with the rest of the group flying China Eastern. Weather looking ok for next Wednesday with scattered cloud and 44 degrees. Mind god that will wake us up. Maybe some thunder storms during the day too.

Well for you people travelling tomorrow I will see you, and for the rest that are staying behind; I will see you when I get back and hopefully with some good images.

I hope you packed your summer clothes, people. It is stinking hot here.

Was about 38 in HangZhou and surrounding areas... maybe 50% humidity today.

Same weather outlook for the next few days from the looks, too, but maybe a little stickier.

Good news is that it is consistent. I've been here for nearly 4 weeks, and it hasn't dropped much below about 34.

Also, I haven't had a big issue with the mozzies. But I'm a Gino, so maybe they don't like the garlic aftershave so much ...

Awesome event, we saw a wonderful corona which was hindered by cloud but it was great all the same, now looking at maybe going to Easter Island for that one.

Not yet mate. Got home last night with fine intentions and fell asleep on the lounge. Got woken up by the girlfriend and told to go to bed. 13 hours of sleep later and I feel a little better. Must have been very tired.
