Absolute stunning image Tom, one of the very best I have seen recently. The halo around the planetary is lovely.

The reducer you use on your AP155? Is that an AP reducer or third party?

thanks
Martin

Hi Martin,

It is an AP 4" (155TCC) telecompressor made especially for the 155 EDF.

Tom,

Outstanding image.

Agreed with the other commenter about the etherael quality to this image and the successful portrayal of a three-dimensional object in a two-dimensional medium -- utterly superb. The stark contrasts evoke a sense of mystery around this region.

This is one of my favourite parts of the sky. I have previously imaged it with a DSLR through a 10" Schmidt-Newtonion (whilst the target was low on the horizon, d'oh!) and look forward eagerly to giving it another go this winter.

I look forward to each gemstone out of the celestial treasuretrove that you present to us.

Regards,
Humayun
