I'm sure most of you know, but don't forget this is a discussion thread. Of course discussion about the movies can take place here, but don't forget to enter in the Entries thread between Monday and Saturday next week!

Such a simple requirement for entry compounded by the difficult decision of what my favorite sci-fi movie is, there's just so many I love!

Seeing as though this is the discussion thread....
I noticed that Contact has been voted a lot.
I agree it was a good movie.... up untill they started getting the plans to build the vehicle and visiting another world etc etc
Dunno, I loved the start of the movie, all the 'first contact' style stuff... but then they just lost me.
Maybe I should watch it again?, havn't seen it since it was shown at the cinemas.

Aknot: We are warriors, not merchants.
Zorg: But you can still count. Look it's easy. Look at my fingers, four stones, four crates, zero stones, zero crates! Pack everything up we're outta here.
Aknot: [Mangalores hoist their guns with a roar] We risked our lives! I think a little compensation is in order.
Zorg: Oh, so you are merchants after all. Leave them one crate for the cause.

brilliant!

I saw this film a few years ago.
We hired it from the local video store, so it should be available to buy somewhere.
Although I can't remember if it was video or dvd.

There were 105 eligible entrants for the competition, and I'll be pulling 10 lucky names out of the virtual barrel today!

Good luck!

The 10 winners have been drawn and contacted via PM.

They need to reply to my PM to acknowledge their prize before Wednesday 4pm AEDST. If they don't contact me before that time, a new name will be drawn.

Once all winners are confirmed, I'll announce their names here.
