Thanks everyone for the very nice complements I must admit it would be one of my best galaxy pics to date. Now only for some more clear nights..Not many of those in the last few months!

I had to look to see what ccd camera you used for this, and when I saw it was a DSLR I was gobsmacked....absolutely outstanding.

Gary,

Mate, another corker!

I agree with both Greg and Mike; you've brought out the structure and form in the arms which clearly shows this is a spiral and also the blobs of nebulosity. Throw in a few background galaxies, and, you've produced easily one of the best M33s I've seen to date.

Congratulations, mate, for an awesome image of an awesome galaxy!

Beautiful work Gary. I love the richness of the colours you get out of your stars as well.

Galaxy is superb too of course.

the new scope's a winner for sure.
And as Mike said, being able to get this detail from such a low altitude is excellent.
Fast optics is the way to go to get those photons in quick!

Gary, That is one seriously nice image the fine detail hasn't been blown away with processing and the colour and focus are great.
