Looks like you have got the right glob. If you compare your image to my sketch (above) you can see that the extension you have going out the right and down matches the extension I also have going out the right, however my orientation of that extension is about 45 degrees above yours (rotating on the core of the glob).

John is right in his comment about missing some of the glob - you have cut off the bright field star (double) at the top of your image. Great attempt though - how did you image it (scope, camera)?

I was using my 18" f4.5 I think the globular cluster was a bit to large for the chip on the DSI. I could have centred the image a bit better though.
