Problems loading iTunes for my iPod

There were no multiple apps installed at any time. I made sure I deleted any previous ones before i loaded a new one. I think the biggest problem may have been that I connected the iPod to the laptop before I'd installed iTunes on the lappy that is having issues. Though i did a complete uninstall of the iPod and then installed iTunes V8 and then reconnnected the iPod. Worked with one lappy but not the other. At least I'm able to dance around the house while I'm doing the house work and I can have the music as loud as i like

I am sorry you have had so many issues. I personally, have had none. Not one single issue with the three iPods in our household. But earlier you mention the 'blue screen of death'. That hints at a OS issue not iTunes. And I agree, Apple/iTunes/iPods are not the worlds biggest seller for no reason. They are simple, why then does every other two-bit company bring out a 'ipod' clone, either in software or hardware. The iPod video with its 80GB storage is popular in our household, great for the kids in the back seat on a trip away. To all those people in the world who ***** about them, well go back to your cassette tape players and see how convenient they are.
