I have a spare RA motor assembly off my heq5, are they the same?

I sorted my alignment problems last week and got round stars with the dsi and 5 minutes subs, no pec correction. Good enough, I'm happy. That head extender is a pig of a device to adjust.

Still shooting 253 here, I'm going to get one decent image of the sucker if it takes the rest of my life
Sold the CLS filter so these are filter free and to be honest, they look better than the filtered ones.

After coming in and giving it a rest for an hour or so, I went back, turned it on, and it started working again. Just long enough to do a single 1 minute of Orion.
So power is getting through.
Tonight, after work, if I'm up to it, I'll try again.
I'll do as you suggested Alex, releasing the tension on the slow mo thingy.
The two minute pic was of nothing in particular, just testing.
Also I forgot to change the camera to .raw, so it was all .jpegs.
I ended up dragging out the Cube and taking pics with that.
