I have actually done that JJJ,  have to admit not every single one, but sadly out of the nearly 5000 members, that have joined up since it's beginning, there are well over 1300  that have never posted at all after they joined up, and just disappear. 
Gee's you can see I get bored sometimes when the clouds are about

That's not surprising.. a lot of people come and go through different hobbies.
Interestingly though, i've seen some people with zero posts who are still active, regular readers and visitors to IceInSpace - they just don't post. And equally, there's people with hundreds of posts who we'll never see or hear from again.
The trend is heading in the right direction, that's the important thing.

I'm not complaining Mike, even with what you have explained when it comes to members, this is still a top site, and the 4000 odd that regularly post will keep me happy for a long time.

Of course, many of those guests (like me) may already be members - they just don't automatically sign in. It's pretty obvious by the date-joined how long I've been hanging around these fabulous pages
