Keep them coming Alex.
Nice start with the new gear...be careful not to clip the histogram with tuc 47 with too much contrast.

Cleaning QHY8
Don't be frightened about cleaning the sensor with Metho or Isopropyl Alchohol. The glass cover on the CCD is very hard and almost everyone I have spoken to on QHY forum recommends cleaning with a Q Tip or CCD cleaning swab and alcohol. I have done it on several occassions and it even helps prevent Ice forming on the CCD.
I use Isoprpyl alcohol bought from a chemist. (Expensive at $35/ 500ml bottle) but it leaves no residue. I also bought ccd cleaning swabs from a local camera store. It pays to do the clean using a magnifying glass as the smallest speck shows up as a big blob on the image.
Give it a go.

That 47 Tuc is is superb!
Crisp and clear and really well defined.
Well done, the others are great too, but DAMN, that 47tuc knocked off my socks, and I wasnt even wearing any!
Top stuff.

Ha Ha, hi fived yourself, classic.
Its a bit embarrasing when you attempt to do that and miss though
Keep it up, I look forward to the next $6400 photo (see what I did there? )
Cheers
Chris
Oh and by the way with the neighbours' lights, one idea is to sneak over when they aren't home, steal some rocks or gravel from their garden if they have any and subtly chuck em at their patio lights, when they find all the smashed glass and the rocks as the evidence, they will think that one of their kids did it, or someone else in their yard. You can then just carry on and say "mate, no idea how that happened???

You have done well with your first try with the QHY8 Alex The reprocessed versions are certainly showing that the data is there. Still seem a little saturated on our monitors but looking better.
Under good conditions your new set up of the C11 & QHY8 should produce some amazing images. Something to look forward to.
