I might be interested in your mount there. Does it have tracking? (even if just to a small degree). I have been looking at EQ6's, so is it similar?

EDIT: I just a poke around the equiptment section and found a picture. I assume its the mount the big blue OTA is on? I couldn't really make out if it had tracking or not, but I saw some cables there

what's that about a GS 16 inch...? aperture fever suddenly breaking out....

Welcome Jim, yes GS are making a 16" Truss Dob which is supposed to be released about December. Ring 'Andrews' or 'Bintel' for an update.

thanks for that info - it will be interesting! Sky is cloudy so all one can do is dream about equipment. I'll try and stay ontrack in future
