Thanks Dietmar, I am very happy that you and so many others have enjoyed this image, in many ways it examplifies our great hobby of revealing the magesty of the sky, the globular cluster in all it's beauty and glory is but a stones throw away compared to the distant interacting galaxies at 190 million lightyears away, let alone, as you say, the even more distant background galaxies out to 100's of millions of light years and further. There appears to be a distant galaxy cluster just above right from the two interacting galaxies, this must surely be over a billion Lyrs away?

Mike

My lord, I shall not fail in thine quest of the screwdriver. The mighty blade shall vanquish thine foes. All who stand against your images shall be smited by the blade of Sir Philips.

I venture forth to spread the word of the Strongman.

By your leave.....

Cheers

Your humble servant

Sir Likesyourpicturesalot
