Very smooth Scott, and good neb extension, but a tad monochromatic. Alexs tweak is an improvement IMO.

When I neutralise the sky background it always seems to come out the orange colour. I might re image it one night without the nebula filter and see what its like

before neutralizing the sky, try adjusting the color balance...

In photo shop you will have Cyan/Red, Magenta/Green and yellow/blue. Go a bit less on the red slider, a bit towards magenta and a touch towards blue... then neutralize the sky...

It can take a while to find the correct color balance...

Yes your tips were most helpful. Heres is a less monochromatic version based on those tips. Theres now some subtle greens in near the centre of the Lagoon.
