Cloudy and wet in Perth again so no viewing tonight, had the scope set up trying out my Canon Powershot taking video through my window via the 80ED of a tree blowing in the wind, as I waited while reinstalling software on my laptop that crashed after installing some Starshoot guider drivers. Video worked out Ok

At least Dr Who's on tonight

Hi Jen, every night for the last week I've poked my head out the door and seen either cloud and rain or rain and cloud or drizzle or etc.........

I figure if I look long enough one night I might see a few billion stars or something. I'll try again tomorrow

cheers Gary

Still cloudy and raining here. Must be nearly 4 weeks without a break now . Still its got to clear sometime and we have had a good run in the last couple of years but it just doesn't seem right. I am so used to viewing Jupiter and her dancing moons on freezing clear winter nights, it's almost like time has stood still.
