Starmap works quite well , with little delay on my ipod touch, but I cant compare it to anything else. The french developer is very helpful if you query him , but his english isnt perfect so keep any comments or questions simple , for clear resonses.
Currrent version 1.2.1 seems a lot faster than the last version and the index wheel responds better
