Thanks for being Jen, not the same without you here.

Glad to hear you got collimated properly, now if we could all just get together and teach Jen V E R Y S L O W L Y what the purpose of an EQ mount is, then she might stop "picking it up and turning it around" to point the scope in the direction of the object she wants to see

Agreed??

Chris
ok AGREED YES it is a very vary bad habit i tried really really hard not to pick it up last weekend but i just couldnt stand it it looked all retarded and warped and i was so scared it was gonna fall over so to make me feel better i picked it up and turned it around
and there, much more comfy for me

She came out one night only, was bitten by some little bugs around the ankles - didn't heal properly for months. For some reason, she has no interest?

Hint - get rollon aeroguard, not spray. Spraying near yours or someone else's optics may cause damaged optics and tremendous aggravation!

omg isnt it crappy Typical though, I've had 2 decent nights since getting my EQ6, and one of those, the neighbours who live up the hill from me decided to throw on a bunch of flood lights and have a party.... Its like a mini-las-vegas, they have over 100 square metres of out door deck area, and every single square mm is lit by like beautiful 250w hallogen POLLUTION!!

Grumble grumble....

Forums are about caring and sharing, for people, by people with a common interest, it's like when you post an image any comment whether sincere or not is a welcome comment.

We take the time to share knowledge and the joy we experience learning and seeing new things in the universe that we all try spend a considerable time viewing, along the way we may make a friend or two, share new discoveries, exchange a laugh, or learn that we have more in common than just the joy of astronomy.

Isn't that what families are about
