Thanks indeed for your encouragement and comments, much appreciated, I think I'm getting the idea now, especially when it comes to processing, I was doing it wrong for so long, Ah well, that is how we learn.

Andrew hope your Illness wasn't anything to serious and that you are now on the mend.

Hi Leon, I'm both impressed and inspired. This is poster quality stuff. I'm hoping to give this region a try soon. Now I have a benchmark for what it should look like

cheers,

rob

Well done especially for just focusing through the viewfinder, I take short test images and adjust focus then try again till stars are sharpest (camera is plugged into laptop for this)

Ah yes, the Takahashi dose a great job, actually, I prefer it over the Canon 300mm F/2.8, however they are both top bits of glass, thanks for the comment.

Many Thanks Jase, it is coming together, and I am pleased to date with my efforts, however I must say this would never have been possible without the help of all the good people on IIS.

I would hate to think of the amount of questions asked.

A lovely image Leon. Gee you're processing skills have certainly come a long way.

We agree wholeheartedly with you on the help of IIS members. We certainly couldn't have gone as far without them.
