I just ordered an H alpha filter from OPT-the response to my enquiry-and the price-was first class.I am still waiting for an answer from the two local vendors I contacted a couple of weeks ago. My preference is to buy local but some of them -and I hasten to add this doesn't apply to all local vendors-ain't helping

Siebert's 2" 00000x Magnification Camera Focus Adapter looks pretty handy .
Been a while since I visited their site.

Thanks very much for your posts thus far. Glad to see we've steered away from the local vs. foreign debate. That list will be a very handy resource.

US$2200 is not a bad price for a 180 if its in excellent as-new conditiion, but I note that AEC in Adelaide have an ex-demo 210 listed for only a little more on their webpage, and that's inclusive of GST and with probably much lower shipping costs to add:

I use my Mewlon for general visual and Lunar imaging, if you check the LPOD gallery under this username you'll some images I put up recently. And if I can blow my own horn a little, one of my Mewlon images was the LPOD for 31 March.

Well, I placed an order on Thursday morning for two Naglers which I received this morning! Packaging was sufficient, not exceptional, and condition of items seems fine (some visible dust on the eye lens which I'll blow off)..

I've always received my items from OPT very well packed and in spotless condition.

Did you buy new or pre-used/open box demo?

Glad you received everything promptly and intact

Just an aside...

If an OS dealer does you a favour and sells you a product normally restricted by dealer territories such as Celestron or Televue, please do keep it under your hat so that you dont ruin it for the next guy who asks
