Very, very nice Scott.
Plenty of detail and nicely coloured.
Well done.

I particularly admire the old brown leather belt holding the scope together

Looks like a nice new OTA, hardly used..?

Yup thats me and my rig. The belt come in handy for lifting the OTA onto the mount. It lives in the garage when not in use, only the mount stays in position. I listen to FM radio while guiding, makes the time go faster
In the off axis guider you see a 32mm erfle, I use that for locating a guidestar, centre it then replace it with the 2.8x barlow and q guider. I cant use the qguider witout the barlow as I cannot get enough back-focus without moving the primary mirror up the tube but that might mean vignetting so I use 2.8x which gives huge guidestars.
As you can see the telescope is 22 years old . The OAG assembly is newer though, only a few years old.
The OTA's Sutching mirror is on its 3rd recoat. First 2 were Astro Optical Supplies done (quite good mind you) but not overcoated. Current one was by Issac of Chi Qin Co, with a beautiful electron gun applied quartz overcoat, that should last the life of the scope (or me)
