We are also one of those 'backwards' households.

I thought it would be in the 3rd, but I just checked. It's in the 2nd drawer

The 3rd drawer is crammed to the top with Kebab skewers and kids lunch bags (and freezer bags )

Na, no good for dust covers, the best for that is a shower cap, they have elastic in the seams, and one fits all.

Third shelf down in the pantry for us.
Third draw is chockers full of freezer bags,lunch bags,skewers elastic bands, take away menus and maybe the odd flat battery.
