Clean, noise free, good colour balance and composition. Don't think we could expect more from this image Humayun. Well done.

Hmmm?...Humayun!......

Niiiiice work that!

You "could" play with it a bit more if you like (?) but not sure what you could get out of it? As you say, some Ha might help bring out some more but it is mighty fine as is IMO

what an image ? And yesterday I posted my first attempt at the moon....I'm so embarrassed....

did you get one of those space visiting shuttle rides and got them to stand at one place for few minutes and grab that image....i just can't believe it....amazing.....

wait did I say what an amazingly beautiful image that is .... i think I'm gonna throw my dob and just follow your photos, I'll see more than what I'll see from my own 8" dob that too in color.....

I would certainly agree with everyone else in submitting your snap to any photo competition....you will surely be a sureshot winner.....

i'm going to save this image...its a stunner and a keeper.....

as i say it..... print it, frame it.... adore it

Beautiful shot, well done!
Question from a newbie, what is the width of that shot in arc-thingo's?

Thanks,
Jason.

Ok,

I have been in this hobby / forum for a few years now and there have been some stand out / jaw dropping images that you open up the link and just stop what you are doing!!

This is one of them!

I was visually observing Alnitak the other night and to think of all the beautiful detail that is hidden to the eye!

Wonderful!

Sorry for the delayed response; been without the Internet.

Thanks!

Eric,

I've been busy, and around. Things happening.

Not my setup -- it belongs to Zane at Magellan Observatory. He's kind enough to let me make use of his wonderful toys.

Cheers.

Rohit,

We all have to start from somewhere -- I'm constantly learning, myself. Everytime I capture and process, I learn something new.

Thanks for the kind words.
