I did actually wonder if it had been deliberately blocked the first time
but no, there's no warning pop up box (which we do get if a site has been blocked) - sadly all I get everytime I try is a completely blank (white) page but IE dislays that small satisfied "DONE" down on it's status bar as if to say "I'm doing my bit".


Bintel's online shop used to work for me here though ..... weird!

I just keep my Bintel browsing to home and trawl through Andrews, AOE, MyAstroShop, etc, etc, here now.

I know a guy that had a similar problem with his work computer. His solution was to download portable FireFox http://portableapps.com/apps/internet/firefox_portable
and put it on a usb drive. It seemed to bypass whatever the problem was for him. You could give that ago.

The problem is that it used to work here just fine, in fact for almsot all of the last 2 years. It's not a huge problem, I don't actually NEEED Bintel accesss here at work.

Interestingly I have also found that we have the same probem with www.dell.com.au

If you're allowed, download and try Firefox, or some other browser. Then you'll know it's your browser settings. You might then try and reset them to default and see what happens.

If they've blocked the website, try using the site's ip address.
They usually forget to block that. The ip address for
www.Bintelshop.com.au is 59.167.244.125.
