I am thinking about coming along. Never been to the Pony Club. Are the skies at the Pony Club more light polluted than at Paintball?

Cheers,
John B

Hi John

you can see more sky glow to the south - but i guess that is because of the lower horizon available - the trees at the paint ball block it out i would say

we had/have a few periods of traffic going past thats visible

bit of a trade off really

we have more area there to set up in
clubhouse for power and coffee making (and waiting for the clouds to clear)

well worth the effort to come have a look i reckon

It looks like i'll be able to come along now, the implementation is likely to get moved back a week.

But of course now the weather is not looking good

I'm happy to go to the Pony Club if there's a large number of us coming. More room for everyone to setup and park, as long as they've mowed the fields.

thats good news Mike

you never know - the weather might clear for us

an indication of more starters would be good

i would like to ring to-nite to book and see if the grass has been mowed if possible

Geoff, I am hoping to be available, but will have to drag the kiddies along if I come because SWMBO is going to be away......so it is a bit in the air for me.....

Hi all,
Newb here. I'm thinking of coming along to this, as the sky is pretty ordinary here at home (Sydney).

Cheers,
Jason.

Geeeeeeeez

the weather prediction for sat is changing like the weather

one minute it is showers, then cloudy - now it is thunderstorms

so when i'm packing the car i will have to put in a pair of shorts, the freezer suit, a rain coat, freezer boots , gum boots, a pair of thongs and a couple of lightning rods

lets see if this works

link to google maps for pony club

starting point is the crossroads at central mangrove (George Downs drive and Mangrove Mountain road)
it should be 10.3k from the crossroads and the gate is on the right

thats good Geoff

I did ask when i got the green light this afternoon for sat nite and was told someone may have slashed it since last month - they were going to confirm that with me - but i guess you just did that.

so - if the weather gods are kind - we can go to the Pony Club on saturday nite
