I must have annoyed the cloud gods
scope arrived monday. absolutely crystal clear sky, was a perfect night for viewing.
Unfortunately the scope was missing a couple of screws so had to abandon it.
Last night I had the replacement screws, and assembled the scope fully - and of course it became quite cool & windy, and then clouds began to blow over
