John B you can add me to your list for this Saturday. I'll be there between 3:30 and 4:00. Hector will need all the tender loving care he can get until his master arrives! And I can really lay it on thick!

Truffo's Shopping List:
1. 12V hair dryer
2. Warm beanie
3. Bickies

You're on, Louie! First one to find an exoplanet gets to "look after" Hector for the rest of the night with the help of the loser's eyepiece collection

Andrew,

Agree entirely...the new series of Doctor Who is exciting. Saturday nights at 7.30pm are booked! I'm taping them as I watch them, but looking forward to the DVD release later this year.

Okay...out in the backyard at 8.20pm observing.

I'm a bit jealous of you lot. It seems like hard work to get more than a couple of Victorians together for a night of observing.

Hope you all have a great night.

there's a segment run on BBC3 each Saturday that's called Dr Who Confidential. It'll never be shown here, but they can watch the episodes off BBC's website. I think the address was www.bbc.co.uk/doctorwho/confidential

sorry yes i have 10 and the 11th will be here on sunday !

I just think you need more people starting a thread like this, Geoff.. There's loads of IIS members in Vic area, just need someone to say "let's do it". It sounded like everyone had a great time last time, so just do it again.. make it a regular thing.

I'm extremely jealous I can't make it this weekend, I just hope this ultrafine weather keeps up for another week and a bit
