Eye-ronic, really.

Wouldn't it be more comfortable if you were to keep it closed by taping some gauze over it?

Then it would get better as quick as a wink, eye wouldn't be surprised.

Heal well.

you got caught looking through keyholes again - didn't you!

i sympathise Mike - i'm only just getting over having a bit of grinding wheel dug out of my left eye by an eye doctor in Gosford the other week

Thanks all for your concern, comments and well wishes.

Went back to the doctor this morning, and i'm on the mend. Today is the first day I woke up and had no pain. I can actually open it now and get blurred bino vision

I can finally type with two hands as well, so I'm going to start working from home today and tomorrow, probably be right to start driving down the freeway again on Friday. Hundreds of work emails to catch up on

Freaky accidents like that probably happen to people every day. I'm just glad that for me it was a) my left eye and not my right, and b) there was no permanent damage.

Thanks again, and time to catch up on things!
