Well Guy's

The wind has started down here, getting gusts up to around 25 to 40 knots with driving rain.

Your in for it later tonight, best of luck.

Everyone in the storm front please take shelter in your house (away from windows).

Reports are coming in on the news that its getting very bad up there and is going to get worse.

Don't go driving around in it!

Take care

Interesting!

I thought of you when I wrote that, Houghy!

I had visions of the Storm blowing trees down, roof sheets flying across the streets and horizontal needle rain . . . . and there was Houghy driving around taking photos of it all

Funny how you are the one I imagined driving around in it, and you are the one who answered the post about it

This might sound a bit weird but it would be rather interesting to experience an ECL like this. As a storm chaser I am always up for a bit of weather lashing. Looks like its gonna be a wee bit nasty.

Take care everyone. I hope you all come through this unscaved!!

If you like could some of it be sent over here. Our soils are still dry and our small creek which should have been flowing for a month now is still bone dry.

best wishes

Man, wollongong is copping it bad!

Gosford it only on the outskirts of this radar but the rain and wind has already picked up significantly. It's moving North still, I hope this patch i'm doing for work has finished by then!

On the news at the moment they're saying it may not be as bad as first predicted.. good news! Only 70km/h instead of 100+!

Predicted to hit Sydney in an hour or two.

Only got a couple of inches of snow here. Nothing exciting...

Talk about bizzare weather, full blown gale last night with driving rain and huge seas, 0500 this morning and the sky suddenly cleared, we have just a few showers out to sea, huge swell and clear blue skies with a gentle southerly blowing.

Cheers

Luckily we had power throughout the night, rain was constant with the wind picking up after 1am but no damage sustained.
Glad it didn't turn out to be a repeat of last week !
