i wasnt overly impressed... i think there was too much fit into the time.
Then again i thought the first two were absolute rubbish. whats the point of turning it into disneyland (Jar head binks) ????

I was very impressed. I think it was very greusome when "nameless" died. All in all,
It was the best movie. Very dark.
I liked it with Yoda and the Red Guards. Who else laughed at that?
And the robot at the start and R2D2, and the robots timeless line.
"My eyes!"
The battle scenes surpassed that even of number 1, which had the best battle scenes.

Saw the movie Sunday , enjoyed it even though my ethuisium had been diminished by the 2 previous prequels. The opening sequence was very specky with the space battle but thinking back to the orginals it just shows how well done those space sequences where done. The story was dark and without going to much into the storyline was good but im not wholly convinced in Aniakins conversion to the dark side . A highlight was seeing the Wookies and Chewie .

Thumbs up

Right Stuart...I would have liked to have seen him wrestling with his emotions more.Breaking down, falling in a heap, at war with his feelings. A few scowling looks isn't quite enough to chuck your religion out the door & turn to the dark side.Padme's portrayal was better in this one. Natalie Portman put more emotion & character in her role which was welcome. All in all though, I loved it.

I agree, there wasn't much development of his thoughts and reasoning behind what he did. It all felt a bit too rushed.
Anthony, perhaps they cut out a lot of things they intend to put on the DVD release version. Let's hope.
Overall, I think the third movie was better than the first two put together. I walked out of there feeling very moved and satisfied.
Yes, the performances were a notch up or two as well, especially manequin anakin. Ewan McGregor stood out as usual *dreamy sigh*

Hey Guys,

I think to get the full impact, one would have to read the novelizations (particularly Labyrinth of Evil), the comics adaptation and watch the clone wars cartoons. At 2 1/2 hours, Lucas probably had to cut out heaps to accomodate the time. He should have done what Peter Jackson did with his LOTR trilogy and allow the movie to run 3 hours ++. But I still think Hayden did a better job this time than the last time, in particular with his expressive eyes. But Natalie Portman is just a much better actor (actress) than he is

Oh and here is the piccy as promised...
