I did not find Jack Schmidt's talk very enlightening when visited Brisbane a few years ago, he did not talk about Geology on the Moon or even much about the Moon in general. Most of the talk was about raising money to go to Mars.
He did not take questions from adults only from children who had to be coerced to ask questions, with most time spent explaining the intricacies of going to the toilet in a Space Craft.
I got the feeling that a big percentage of the people who attended where less than impressed with the talk.
As an aside, he did not interact with the audience after the talk and wanted no photo's taken.
In my view not a very affable character
