I hope you dont think that I think any of these things look weird, I personally do not, because frankly I have always seen myself somewhat as the trend setter

and I am entirely confident that after a few trips around Lismore on my three wheel bike wearing my African gown you will find many of the locals stopping me to ask where they can buy these things.
However today I awoke feeling a need to explore some Mongolian web sites to see if they offer anything in the way of traditional Mongolian apparel...again if worn in Lismore I think one would be making a profound statement that no one would understand but feel threatened nevertheless...
I find it funny how in most communities a certain dress style is expected..up here you can look at someone and know if they are a "cow cocky" ...same same same down to the little knife pouch on the belt....Another group that I find curious is that of the "bikers"...they preach a philosophy of being free and yet they all wear near identical apparel..I expect if you presented to join a biker group in an African robe they could not see that they witness the total freedom of expression they claim is theirs alone.
Back in my early days I had a suit tailored and made in denim ( worn with a dark brown shirt and flash tie) you should have seen the heads turn when I entered the court room..you just did not do that.
..but it was not long before these started to appear all around Sydney, my influence hardley as similar ideas hit many folk.
I also had a pure white suit with bamboo buttons that got a lot of attention...it was magic in a disco under the "black" lights and strobing.
AND people often see only the clothes. If I put on a sloppy joe, jeans, a cap and dark glasses I could walk around Beecroft un.noticed a place where near every one would know my face just by virtue of the adverts...they expected a three piece suit and without it I did not exist.
But all this is driven by my need to buy something on the net and it is frustrating that I cant find a damn thing that I want..
