Hi petra, just a few things worth highlighting with the reg process.

One thing that wasn't made clear in page 3? was that the bank details for direct transfer would disappear off my screen after clicking 'next' ... ie no prompt to do it then and there.

After clicking forward and realising my mistake I clicked back on my browser and the order number had changed. thankfully I had written it down first.

Whats also not clear is the room prices. They state twin share minimum and then a price for extra adults. Im assuming the base price given ($60 for leisure unit) is the charge for the room with up to two people? ( or is it for each person each night?)

Hi Geoff

Thank you for the feedback - we will highlight the point at step 2.

The "Room/Night" naming convention is a requirement of the Great Aussie Resort (prior to its change over to Aspen Parks). We will update the Rates pages to clarify it as a "per night" where applicable. You are correct as it is a "Room per night" charge, not per person charge.

However, an extra adult would be $11.00 per night = 2 nights $22.

Keep the feedback coming - we would like to ensure that this is spot on!

Cheers Petra

Hey there Geoff

I just came back from Brisbane and it was a little bit chilly to say the least. Here in Australia you just dont know what you are going to get in terms of weather.

Welcome aboard - we should have the prize page ready to go in the next few days.

Cheers Petra

Yes Geoff, i will be bringing some with me, but i would suggest you look at the sizing guide and get what you want before hand.
i won't be bringing truckloads, and i'm sure what i do bring won't last long if this weather lasts - damn cold even up here.

we can always work an exchange, if we have to, when i get down there.
have a look for the old freezer suit thread - sizes are in there somewhere

geoff

BUt I am Committed (well my wife wishes ) to QLd, I promised Paul a real ginger beer(not the bundy stuff - the saxby real ginger beer ), and Dennis needs to play with my Pentax K10D, and then there are the guys and gals from up north that unwittingly have met me and luckly have forgotten it , so they need reminding what a real counterweight Tossing Champion looks like .

I do wish I was going, but 6 days of imaging V's 2 nights does outweight any advantage of 5 star accomodation

Hi David

We totally understand, have fun and enjoy... Maybe one year we can entice you down this way. But we have to start small before we turn it into a month long extravaganza!!!!!!

Cheers Petra

Hi Petra - I'm booked

I'll be coming down with the camper trailer for Friday and Saturday nights. I'm not sure yet, but Mark Suchting is probably coming down in my car as well.

Looking forward to my third star party this year

Cheers
Chris

Likewise Mike

Jenny isn't coming this time though - too much work on I'm afraid.

This just means that I can stay up later I sure hope that Mark can bring the binos along again.....
