Isn't it strange that the pursuit of knowledge is considered geeky behaviour, just the jocks having an inferiority complex and need to uplift themselves by calling people geeks who appear smarter than them.

I found it interesting how things changed through the years. Up to year 10, geekish tendencies were not something to be proud of. Years 11 and 12 were a bit better as those two years were more academically oriented rather than being a prison for s***heads.
Now geekiness seems to be regarded as a good thing.
