Thanks guys.
I reckon I'll nail some beauties when the sky is a bit clearer. Also, I'll have to work out how to stack many single images. Bit different to stacking an Avi.

These were captured using USB1. I forgot to run it through the USB2 card, that will help too.

Fantastic results Ken. Download Deep Sky Stacker.. I did some 72 second shots 10 told it to pick the best 80% and unbelievable what a stack did.. my point is you can take the web can to a whole new level easily by doing a selection for a stack. My 72 sec stack turned out better than a much longer exposure. I only limited it to 72 seconds because the mount was not set up and past 72 the trails showed up.
Great work go for it again if you get a break in the weather Moon or no Moon.

AND Deep Sky Stacker will let you include a dark frame which may take it higher again.

Thanks Alex.

Does deep Sky Stacker have to be on the lappy? Can I just download it to the main PC and then transfer the images from Lappy to PC for stacking?

I don't see why not. A file is a file, if you can move it from one to the other you can do it I expect.

It has no restrictions ken, you can put it where ever you like, except you cannot make money from the sale of it. In other words, keep it free.
