It would be good if you could further develop your idea to sniff IP addresses and triangulate them with GPS so that people roaming on wireless laptop's could have a constantly changing distance....I know what you're thinking, I used to say the same thing about Dick Tracey's wrist radio.

Let's not get carried away. It's only there because it's nice to see how far away people are from you. It's not accurate to the metre. You wont be able to "track" anyone
