Read the thread in the equip forum froggy. and guided photography is different than tracking. I explained it in another thread somewhere!? Will do so again tomorrow.

Brian does mention in his post "It cannot be used for guided photography" however you maybe be able to do short exp's and stack them. and then there is the reset after 50 minutes thing, which could cut things a bit short for dso imaging. I think Brian had more the intention that this would be more of a visual aid, great for folks who are into sketching. As this is something I would like to dabble in, I could be interested in one myself later on.
