Speaking of Petra's celebrity appearance, if you look carefully, at least three other IISers are in the shot (Anna, XStream and Unbeliever). John, lovely shot of your legs...

With our recent change of address and my travel schedule I just got a chance to catch up with this issue (and it's well documented pictorials )

Another nice job AS&T Team!

Thought that was you, Petra. Anyone else glad to see astrophoto's taken with achievable equipment? I mean the SBIG stuff is great, but I certainly have no hope of ever affording it....or an RCOS....or a Paramount....but I did just buy a new Canon 400D w00t!! The results in AS&T speak for themselves!

Clear skies,
Shane

I'm so happy to have an image published. What a thrill.

But, you split my Tarantula down the middle!

Thank you Greg and the rest of the team at AS&T.

Regards,
Humayun

Congratulations everyone.
IISers dominate the "local content" once again.

Thankyou all for your comments about the Mar/Apr AS&T.

In answer to Ric's question, our May/Jun issue will be in shops on April 18th (subscribers of course get their copies earlier).

It's going to be a special Collectors Comet McNaught issue. We've received hundreds of comet image submissions, but we haven't finalised yet which images we'll publish. So, if you've taken an image (or have a "comet tale" to tell), e-mail us at contributions@austskyandtel.com.au.

Cheers Greg , it's all these cloudy nights that's doing it, normally it takes a bit longer to get to the end.
I may have to subscribe to get AS&T a bit earlier.
It's a top quality magazine, congrats to you and your team

Cheers
