A bush knife from Nepal with wooden sheath. It is nicely balanced and keeps an edge really well. I brought it back in airline luggage, no questions asked, back in the early 70's.

Hi Steve
Mine came from Nepal.
Very handy unit great for kindling or butchering if you know what you are doing.

I pleasantly surprised that there small group of blade collectors out there.

I have just the two, a WWII Japanese officer's Katana (not pictured....needs some restoration work...BTW anyone know who does such things?? ) and just one William Henry pocket knife (pictured) .... I am very fond of it.

Most beautiful and wonderful.

Some think it strange to collect knives but some are magnificent works of art and this one demonstrates the art of the knife maker.

I would be most careful mentioning that you have such a sword and be careful letting it out of your possession.

I referred somewhere here to a friend who was a collector and dealer.

He had three genuine Katana swords and within two weeks of insuring them his shop was broken into and only those three swords were taken.

It was his belief there are folk engaged in finding them and taking them back.

The fact he had other very valuable swords and knives and yet only the three taken makes one wonder if his conspiracy theory has something to it.

This is my favorite.
It is a Kershaw Japenese copy.

When clean it looks nice.

A guy wanted to give me my commision on the sale of his house partly in goods from his tackle shop.

I was not impressed as I dont do business that way however I felt probably if I did not go with his idea I may have had to sue.

This thing was $110 dollars about twenty six years ago and to me at the time was simply outrageous but it was a case of get what I could and somehow recover my commission.

It was stuff that I didnt want or need really.

But it is such a solid knife and over the years I have grown to really like it.
