Got some me time Christmas night!

Used my Fsq, wide field eyepieces , the moon, a nip or two of Adelaide hills shaw and smith sav Blanc and a bit of Michael buble' playing in the back ground.
Doesn't get much better than this!

Would you believe that Mum got me a used Tak 1.25" prism diagonal and a Parks GS 15mm eyepiece? Just what I wanted for my newish C-11. Not bad for an old girl who doesn't even use the internet .

BTW my sister just visited Hobbiton NZ and bought me a LOTR mug. It's black with the gold ring on it. When you put hot water in the mug fiery letters appear on the side. Neat. Apparently the 'feast fit for a hobbit' is not to be missed (or taken lightly).

Both those gifts sound brilliant. One day if I'm good maybe Santa will bring me one or both. I'll be good...I'll be good...

Cool, must get one

Was Santa to myself, after selling off some gear and months of saving a little triplet travel apo, a mount hub pro and a copy/subscription to Pixinsight. Got to say at this early stage Pixinsight is fantastic

I got a "Pets Taking Selfies" calendar. All I wanted was a LOTR mug. (Bring back Festivus!) When I was a kid I got a purple dragster with streamers on the handlebars, and all the other kids got 10 speed racers. Bitter, twisted, where is my precious............mind you the Dragster would be worth a fortune now, despite the bloody Sturmey Archer 3 speed gears.

Astronomically speaking, Santa delivered me a 2 xPowermate and a 3mm DeLite.

I also splashed out and bought myself for Chrissy a Sky Atlas Laminated Field Version - which is absolutely HUGE!

Gearing up for my new SDM f/3.8 20 inch scope which (I hope) is only weeks away from delivery...

Santa was good to me too...received a Terminagler, the astronomical hand grenade. Unfortunately sub zero cold and snow means it may be a while before I get a chance to try it out.
