That's just not right. You can't get everything working first try!

Next you're going to tell us the weather was fine the moment you had it all set up too??

A joyous result. We are thrilled on your behalf. A very well thought out system, and a beautiful unrehearsed first light.

Ha ha yeah you should'a seen me holding onto the whole shebang with the Dec axis horizontal, all the scopes and cameras on one side, I had to hold it all with my left side while my right side unscrewed the thread Tak 6.5kg weight so I could slide the weight plates on and off in different combinations and screw the 6.5kg back on each time.. the RA clutch wouldn't hold, I had to stop it all swinging down and smashing into the pier!..it was hair raising and at one point I thought shight I might not be able to do this ...but I dug deep and just did it, caused a few beads of sweat

Well Rob, I was suitably amazed too and yes as soon as it was all setup on Sun it was indeed perfectly clear, steady and transparent...Sunday night was almost a religious experience

Hah! I'm just a little guy and I can get the 11" on myself but always rope a visitor into the OTA changeover. 100 kgs is INSANE! and with such expensive equipment! A hernia aside I would've **** myself regardless given the stakes 😂

Great first light Mike. That’s a hell of a setup you have there! How much fun are you going to have!

Right got it...actually looking at that and given you need some overlap, you might even need to take 6 panels? You would have slightly finer image scale though

Even though just a test image...I decided to reprocess and fix the blue saturation and the registration error I had, much better now I think?

Same link in OP
