When I was quite young my grandparents used to take me to see the highland games in Sydney and tossing the caber is the only part of the event I remember. It's obviously more visually exciting than carrying a rock. I hope you were appropriately (un)dressed when competing. After all, you are supposed to be in a kilt, not a skirt.

well funnily enough, at the lifting of the manhood stones (known as the Bundanoon Stones), run as part of the Sydney Scottish Week celebrations some years ago, that's exactly what the MC called me over the PA system while he was calling the event to the crowd it's "Sidonio" btw
