given most of my shots were taken within the storm cell, Scotts images are unreal, as he had the height and perspective from outside the cell to get the best view. they are top shots

Frying was not an option, I stayed under cover the whole time. Mind you though with those lightning bolts i would not have been driving in it either

In hindsight I should have been ready to go to a better location. Normally when a lightning storm approaches I go down to the local Wallsend Park where theres a good horizon for lightning shots, and hopefully protection against being struck by some nice high light towers.
