The thought that he can start a first strike at the press of a button ... he's crazy enough to do it.

More like though is an ugly war with China, and a hideous mess in the Middle East.

The more desperate a population becomes the more likely it is to elect a crazy leader; Trump's rise to power seems logical under the current economic conditions (largely created by Wall street banksters).

But don't worry today - Sun is warm, grass is green.

Can he?
Is it a one man thing?
Now that he is President we must give him some credit for pulling it off.
He must be better than crazy... Must be..please make it true...please.

Will he build the wall..probably cheaper than the army of folk chasing "wet backs" as they called Mexicans the last time some politician ran with the keep the out trip.

Will he export the illegals...maybe but what a boost to the economy..lawyers will be happy and think of the crew needed to round them up.

Keep out Muslims as well...mmm will he or maybe tone it down a lot?

Something his ex bulter said about him when asked how he would go at a state dinner...
He will morph into whatever he has to be...
I hope that means something good.

Another thing...just how much power does a President have?
His powers can't be like the monarchs of old..
In his business life did he use advisors, consultants, accountants, marketing folk?

I mean can one man absolutely guide control the country.

Peter I think DT probably has a higher opinion of himself than you suggest.

so we can hit all three taboo topics with Trump, he boasts about his tremendous wealth, thinks he is god and is now president ... the money, religion and politics trifecta

I have never felt less optimistic.
The frightening thing is he was elected.
What does that tell us.

I took the time to watch his victory speech.
I thought it was very good actually.
He sort to heal the wounds and tell the world he was determined to get on nicely with all.
He is presenting a more rational face.
Much much better than I expected it will be interesting to see how the markets react today.

What is interesting is where he got support.
From groups that you would think would avoid him.
The people have spoken er shouted actually.
I think they are happy to burn down the house to get rid of the fleas and many are seeing the result as a finger up to "the establishment".
Hopefully things will only get better.
If we all hope hard enough everything will be alright.

From what I can find markets responded positively to Trumps speech.
So far so good.
Smith and Wesson shares have fallen dramatically cause gun control less likely and folk are not stocking up more guns.

I am encouraged the market is so responsive to speeches.
So long as Trump keeps saying all is great maybe they will run with that...
Really how do they do things on other planets?
