I think I can stop the chain throwing be installing a chain tensioner.
A dowl rod under the platform using a $7 elastic belt from Kmart which acts on both chains.
I should abandon this model and go for hubless motors but I have a $7 belt but no hub motors.
I see this model like the "spruce goose" it only has to provide a model to test the concept ... The question is how will it go when upon it.. If good I will invest in better motors and build the platform in fiber glass, carbon fiber would be good but I have no idea,yet, how to fabricate using it.

He probably is correct.
Its become one of those things where I said I will do it and I like to do what I say I will do.
I believe it will help many people like me who have the same needs. It will be cheap lite and carry stuff.

We always are alone Les.
The best we can do is offer an example for others and I am sure your effort will inspire folk and so it is all worth the effort.
