Thanks, Louie. Might have the opportunity to do that next year.

Yum. The area is very reminiscent of the similar bit in Corona Australis, what with thick dust and reflection nebulosity and HH's. We can see one for sure in your shot. The needle-like shock front toward top right is very sharp.

Thanks, M&T! There's at least two Herbig-Haro objects (103 and 105.) I hope to dig around and do a little annotated map when I get a chance.

Gorgeous image Rick - everything about it is appealing.

Agree with Louie - might be worth digging around at even higher resolution at some stage (as planned) - the area looks very interesting.

I missed this one so I too appreciate the bump!

Really appealing colours. I especially like the detail in the blue + rich blue colour. Really well done.

Thanks,

Peter

Nice sparkly image Rick. I like the intricate detail in the central nebula and the faint wispy bits on its edges.

Thanks Marcus & Geoff. With some temporal distance I'm less happy with it. Perhaps a repro one of these days...

Cheers,
Rick.

Wow, what an excellent image. I don't think I'll ever have the patience for 50 hours though.

Thanks, Kevin. The system at SRO is fully automated so it doesn't take much patience at all. The data just rolls in via Google Drive every day
