I was just having a look at Vista on the Microsoft website, very impressive stuff indeed. But it's a 3gb download just to have a look , it will take me 64 hours on dialup to download .
I just wait for the commercial release
Just reloaded XP on a new HDD with IE7. My first impression is it's faster, don't understand why they had to try and make it look like firefox though. I don't like the inflexibility of the toolbars. In the old version I could rearrange everything I wanted in to 2 bars, now to get the same it takes 3 bars. I have to agree on the location of the refresh, stupid spot IMO and the search toolbar takes up valuable real estate that I had covered with one icon in the links section previously. Scrolling is not smooth at least on my PC, but maybe that's a settings thing. For me a few plusses but on the screen utilisation several minusses.
Edit: found the scrolling problem, my video drivers had not loaded correctly. Scrolling is now as before.
