yes they will , I have owned a few of the LP ones over the years and they compare nicely to eyepiece,s costing 2-3 times as much , very underrated these are .
I really liked the 14mm , a good one that one.

My two-bob's worth: I bought a Celestron EP kit from the USA (because it was way cheaper than getting one from here, even with the exchange rate!) a long time ago because it looked smashing and impressive to have a nice little case and a bunch of EP's covering various focal lengths and also a barlow to boot! As years have gone by, I still have the case, the barlow and a 32mm Plossl (because it works well with my 8" Dob); all of the rest has been replaced (and a couple given away to friends and family)! I think you've got great advice from others and the way forward would be to add an EP here and there until you have a useful kit you can rely on. I can say from experience that a view of the Moon through an 8" Dob with a 9mm TMB Planetary II EP is extremely impressive: this EP cost me $60 or so (from China); I would have no hesitation in recommending this EP to another Dob user as value for money on steroids!

Some eyepieces can work well with both convex and concave focal planes. Oddly enough, these also tend to be more expensive EPs too... . BUT, they do not throw up the exact same image quality!!! There will be some compromise somewhere in the optical light train. Either a little field curvature, or a little softer in focus, or a little astigmatism right at the edge, or a shift in eye relief, or a little more eye strain, or eye placement becomes more critical... Something will change, however small. <WARNING: another cliche> - No Free Lunch here... But the nett result is still a very damn good image. ...
