Hi Jen,

Its pretty exciting stuff !
Years ago we incorporated a dive club that was a spinoff from a defunct shop - its almost like having a new child of your own !

A new entity comes into being, you have to name it, register it, train it, hold its hand and grow it up !!!
Lots of feelings of responsibility, care, anxiety, expectation . . . and of course the prospect of future fun and activities.

I am sure it will work out well - your huge enthusiasm and energy will go a long way into ensuring its success I am sure.
And if you get stuck - there is everyone here to help you along.
just get few helpers and it'll take on a life of its own.

The last thing you should worry about is all this red tape stuff.. just find others in your area and have a monthly meet with telescopes and coffee. If there is need to walk down the road of officially becoming incorporated then do it as a group.

keep it fun and friendly

The only thing I'm worried about is I'm a very laid back person I'm not bossy enough ( well my hubby seems to think so lol ) to run a club I don't think haha some of you might not think so but I am quite shy hahaha ok unless I'm passionate about something then you can't shut me up hehehe
I now have seven Astro buddies in swan hill woohoo

Oh no, the future Swan Hill Group is in jeopardy. (Sorry, I can't remember the fancy Astrological name of the Group/Club thingy)

I fear we have reached an impasse !!

Coffee is a must have.
It helps keep the eyes open and therefore the stars brighter.

Even though some would say you have enough yippee beans running around inside of you, for both of us.

Astro groups, clubs, associations, what ever you call them are a real challenge - like the proverbial 'herding cats'.
